Moon and Jupiter.

Jupiter-Moon 008.jpgTonight Jupiter and the Moon came to a close alignment so I tried to make some pictures with my tele lens (Tamron AF 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 Di LD Macro Zoom Lens).
 
I  didn't expect that you could actually make out some of Jupiter's moons, which is actually very cool. According to the NASA/JPL Solar System Simulator (at the time when I took the picture) the moons are Ganymede and Io.
